100th Post Giveaway Celebration! (Beaba Babycook!!!)
If you make a large batch of food at one time (and I would definitely recommend that) you are going to need to freeze it so that it will last. And this, of course, means that you are going to need to defrost it later. Some people are a little bit uncomfortable with using microwaves on their babies' food, and if you feel that way, then having the Babycook ready to defrost the food for you is awesome. Furthermore, if you added breast milk to the baby food in order to thin it out, then microwaving the food when you reheat it is out of the question. I personally am not against using a microwave, but I do add breast milk to the food. I guess that wouldn't really have been an option for me if I didn't have the Babycook, because I don't know how I would have heated up the food once I added the milk! View the full review here .

Shutterbean and Bibs
So whats that little gadget up there? Thats the Beaba babyfood maker. Its this fun little gadget that steams your fruits, veggies, & meats AND purees them all in one! Its been a godsend and its made the whole making my own baby food endeavor a breeze. I looked at the Beaba babyfood maker online during my pregnancy and thought it looked cool but it never ended up on my baby registry. It seemed like a lot to ask of someone. A few months later I received one at my baby shower! I contemplated returning it as I already have at least 4 gadgets in the kitchen that I could use to make babyfood. Did I really need ANOTHER kitchen tool? View the full review here .

Best Products for Little Ones
Have you ever thought about making your own baby food? Have you ever TRIED to make your own baby food using every appliance in your kitchen? The Beaba Babycook makes baby food making a piece of cake! A few weeks ago I used mine for the first time. I peeled and diced one sweet potato. With the Babycook, I was able to steam and puree the sweet potato in one processor. The whole process took about 20 minutes, and it was delicious. One medium sized pototo made about 4 servings and I think I paid fifty cents for it. Can you buy 4 baby food jars for 50 cents? I didnt think so. View the full review here .

The Beaba Babycook -- Steamer, Warmer, Defroster & Blender. All In One.
A steamer, warmer, defroster and blender. All in one neat little product while making that excellent at-home food for your little one. It's PBA Free... All components coming in contact with food are made of polypropylene and polysulfone. There are all types of great DYI baby food cookbooks out there (of course, the Babycook has it's own line of books too). It comes with a $150 price tag, but to me, it would be well worth it in time savings along the way. View the full review here .

Review: Beaba Babycook
The BEABA Babycook comes with a basket, a ladle of some sorts, a cover for blitzing and a lid together with two functions steam and puree. The instructions are easy fill in the steaming section with some water (you can use the processor bin to measure), drop in the items (diced up please) that you wish to steam into the BPA-free basket (in fact, all plastic units in this equipment are BPA-free), cover with the lid, turn the dial to steam function and let it cook. How long depends on how much water you put in and after its done, it stops automatically. You then remove the basket with the ladle (careful coz its steaming hot), either pour it into the bin with the juices that have collected from the steaming or discard the water (recommended for spinach and carrots coz of nitrate content) and puree! Guest Post - Amanda Smith & Baby Food!
My name is Amanda Smith and you can usually find me on helloprettybird.blogspot.com. I have been a very bad blogger and haven't kept up with it as much as I want to, but I'm working on that. I have a little boy, Jackson, who is 4 months old and is very picky when it comes to baby food. At my baby shower, I received this awesome little contraption. It's called the Beaba Babycook Baby Food Maker. This was probably the best thing I received at my babyshower. It steams and purees the food for you. It's pretty sweet. So far, we have made sweet potatoes, pears, zucchini and carrots. We use only organic fruits and veggies to make sure we know exactly what is going into our little one. View the full review here .

Is the BPA-free Beaba Babycook Really Worth the Money?
I first began my search for a BPA-free baby food processor several months ago, and just kept running into the Beaba Babycook by Williams Sonoma at every turn. There was some debate as to whether it was made with polycarbonate plastic or not, so I decided to contact the manufacturer directly to find out. I learned that all components coming in contact with food are made of polypropylene (PP) and polysulfone (PSU) all BPA and PVC-free materials. View the full review here .

my life with the beaba babycook
The Beaba Babycook is one of those baby gadgets that I thought was slightly ridiculous because why should making baby food require a separate appliance? Some things seem so ridiculous that I have to try them out for myself. Perfect timing: our baby son Owen is starting solids. This is what i found upon making sweet potatoes for the baby: i absolutely love the Beaba Babycook! It's amazing, right? Even though I am not a first time mom + have made baby food before I found it incredibly.... effortless. View the full review here .

Beaba Babycook - Baby Food Maker
The Beaba Babycook is a very handy tool in the kitchen. It's great for someone who wants to make their own baby food but isn't sure where to start as well as for parents who already know what they're doing and just want it done quickly. This is perfect for parents who would like to control what goes into their baby's food. A bit pricey but worth it in the end. Makes a great group baby shower gift. View the full review here .
